Presentation at Botanical Artists of Canada AGM

Yesterday evening I gave a short presentation at the Botanical Artists of Canada’s AGM, showing some rare wildflowers of Ontario. I was, of course, trying to encourage the BAC members, who include some superlative painters and illustrators, to turn more of their artistic attention to our native flora. Here are some of the highlights from that talk:

Hill’s thistle flower bud
Smooth false foxglove
Woodland lettuce
Tall grass prairie, Ojibway Prairie PNR
